We believe preschool children learn best in a child-centered
environment where they are free to discover and experiment
through play. Our teachers, who are professionally trained in
preschool education, work together in planning a program that
promotes varied and enriching experiences. Daily activities
include art, music, science, and language arts, developed
around weekly themes. Our cheerful, well equipped classroom
and open spaces for large muscle development encourage
creativity and imaginative play, as well as help foster
self-confidence, a positive self-image, and respect for others.
Communication between home and school is strongly encouraged. Regular monthly newsletters keep parents informed of special projects, upcoming themes, and field trips. Parent-teacher conferences help to better assess each child’s progress and needs. We maintain an open door policy and welcome parent volunteers in the classroom. Parents are also encouraged to attend our monthly board meetings.
