The afternoon Pre-K class is designed for children who are 4½ to 5½ years old, in addition to children whose birthdays fall after the kindergarten cut off date. The afternoon Pre-K class covers the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards through fun and interactive activities. Many educational professionals recommend that children with summer birthdays (June 1st and on) attend an additional year of preschool. There are many benefits including the building of confidence, maturity, and school-readiness skills.
The afternoon Pre-K class meets Monday through Thursday afternoons from 12:15 to 2:45p.m. Class size is limited to 18 children with two full time teachers.
Every child has a particular learning style. It is our intention to help parents place their child in the class that best suits his or her needs and guarantees success in preschool and beyond. We are proud of our programs and believe we have options to serve most families.

This class is recommended for children who are already 4 and will turn 5 throughout the school year. Letters, numbers, and early literacy skills are covered daily using a variety of fun and interactive activities. The class covers Ohio Early Learning Content Standards to help prepare the children to enter kindergarten ready for success.
The 4s Preschool class meets Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30a.m. Class size is limited to 18 children with two full time teachers.

AFTERNOON PRE-K
The main goal of our 3-year-old class is to provide a smooth transition between home and school and offer opportunities for growth in all areas of development. All of our class activities are aimed at developing skills appropriate to the child’s age and development level. Directed learning activities in small groups make up half of our program, while free play accounts for the rest of the day. It is our belief that a well-arranged environment, reflecting our unit themes, invites participation and learning through play.
The 3-year-old class meets on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Class size is limited to 18 children with two full time teachers.
